colourQ challenge #253...

Good morning!!! Are you ready for some new colors??? Thank so much to everyone who joined in last week! Today we're rushing around getting last minute school supplies - my baby boy starts kindergarten tomorrow! We had his open house last night... he's a lot calmer than I am - LOL! So after that I will get back here and post some winners and my card later today!

I am so excited to introduce the newest colourQ Royal Court member, Kim Heggins! She is so talented and wonderful - such a sweet lady! You're going to L-O-V-E her weekly inspiration!!!

And from our spectacular~ly crafty Royal Court...

Ready to get inky?!?

ENTRY DEADLINE is MONDAY, August 11th at 12 midnight CST, to be considered for colourQueen! You must be linked before the deadline to be in the running for colourQueen, but if you miss it, you are welcome to leave your link in the comments!

PLEASE use the palette provided for your project!

You'll notice that a few of our designers use colors similar to the SU! colors listed in the palettes - just try to keep it close!

Please display our palette badge, but at the VERY least, you MUST put a link in your post back to this challenge~ Thank you!

Using InLinkz, link to the actual post/gallery page your project is in, and select the thumbnail image of your project. Any mis-linked entries are subject to deletion, but I'll try to let you know if there's a problem!

*** Just so you know, InLinkz is not fool-proof, some of you may not be able to post the thumbnail of your card... if not, link your profile picture. But if you CAN post the thumbnail of your card, please do! If I have time I will go back & 'fix' the Inlinkz for those of you who cannot get your project thumbnail to post, oky-doky? If I do "fix" it for you, your thumbnail may be moved to a different position on the entry list ***

Hope you get to play along this week!!!

What great colors! I kind of missed the Espresso on my card - unless you count the dark speckles in the embossing on the window frame! Wonderful inspiration from the DT samples!

Arielle, your sweet little boy stands with the confidence of a college grad! I don't want to scare you, but I can picture him in his cap and gown! Thank you for a super color challenge. I wouldn't have picked them, but love that plaid and love how the papers and inks do compliment each other! And, of course, I'm over the moon thrilled for you that you had the sense to choose Kim as a Royal Court member! She is an utterly amazing card artist and a hard and dedicated worker!! She'll be a true asset to the team!! Hugs, Darnell
